Toro 22297 21 in Heavy Duty Mower | Kawasaki Engine

The Toro 22297 Heavy Duty Commercial Mower is a professional-grade 21-inch walk-behind mower engineered for landscapers, contractors, and grounds maintenance crews who demand maximum durability, powerful performance, and long-term reliability. Built on Toro’s proven commercial platform, this mower combines a rugged cast-aluminum deck, commercial-grade drivetrain, and the trusted performance of a Kawasaki FJ180V engine.

Powered by the Kawasaki FJ180V KAI 179cc commercial engine, the Toro 22297 delivers excellent torque, easy starting, and dependable operation in demanding mowing conditions. The engine is specifically designed for commercial applications, providing long service life and consistent performance for daily professional use.

The mower features Toro’s Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) system, allowing operators to stop the blade while keeping the engine running. This increases productivity by reducing restart time when emptying the grass bag, crossing hard surfaces, or removing obstacles.
