Toro 22298 21 in Heavy Duty Mower | Kawasaki BBC Engine

The Toro 22298 Heavy Duty Commercial Mower is a professional-grade 21-inch walk-behind mower built for landscapers, contractors, and grounds maintenance professionals who require maximum durability, superior cutting performance, and all-day reliability. Designed for intensive commercial use, this mower combines Toro’s rugged cast-aluminum deck, commercial transmission, and the dependable power of a Kawasaki FJ180V KAI engine.

Powered by the Kawasaki FJ180V KAI 179cc commercial OHV engine, the Toro 22298 delivers strong torque, excellent fuel efficiency, and reliable operation in demanding mowing conditions. The commercial-grade engine is engineered for long service life and consistent performance during daily professional use.

A key feature of the Toro 22298 is the Blade Brake Clutch (BBC) system, which allows the blade to stop while the engine remains running. This increases productivity and convenience by eliminating unnecessary engine restarts when crossing sidewalks, emptying the grass bag, or clearing debris.

The mower also incorporates Toro’s proven Recycler® cutting technology, providing exceptional mulching performance while maintaining excellent bagging and side-discharge capabilities.
